What is ExecuVault?
How Much Does ExecuVault Cost?
Your ExecuVault account is FREE for you and for your connected Beneficiaries.
Can I invite my Beneficiaries to ExecuVault?
Absolutely! We encourage it. Let your loved ones know that you are using ExecuVault for your own peace-of-mind, as well as for theirs. And don't forget to tell them it's FREE!
Can I use ExecuVault to store documents?
Yes! Secure your paperwork in your personalized vault. We've provided a number of recommended Documents + Vital Records that your beneficiaries are most likely to require, to help get you started; but you may also choose "Other" to safely store copies of documents that we have not listed.
Can I use ExecuVault to help my loved ones locate original copies of Documents + Records they will need?
Yes! We've provided a section within your Profile called Important Locations where you can add and geo-tag the precise whereabouts of original paperwork.
Can I use ExecuVault to assign assets to my heirs?
Yes! We've provided five categories to help you organize your Assets: Accounts + Investments, Insurance Policies, Properties, Vehicles, and Collectibles. Simply enter the information and assign the Asset to the Beneficiary —or Beneficiaries— of your choice. You have full control over whether or not your chosen heirs can see what you're planning.
Can I allow my Estate Lawyer or Planner to view my plans online? That would save me a lot of time!
Yes! We encourage you to add and invite your own financial professionals in Advisors + Lawyers. They will require their own XV account in order to connect with you.
Can I use ExecuVault to make sure my survivors can access and deactivate my digital accounts and devices?
Yes! We've provided a section in your Profile called Passwords + Accounts where you can organize your devices and digital accounts, as well as provide safeguarded access hints for a trusted "Digital Guardian" of your choice.
Can I use ExecuVault to share my funeral plans with my loved ones?
Yes! We've provided a section in your Profile called Arrangements + Wishes where you can express your preferences, as well as provide information about any pre-paid contracts you've secured to cover the cost of services.
Can anyone see my plans?
Only if you want them to. You have full control over whether or not your chosen heirs can see what you're planning.
Why would I want to turn transparency settings ON to make my plans and wishes “visible” to specified Beneficiaries?
We encourage transparency. We want to help you start meaningful conversations. That said, your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, so the choice is in your hands: visibility of everything in your vault is turned “off” by default. However, it is important to consider that the most commonly documented reasons for heartbreaking family turmoil —fractured relationships, leading to costly legal disputes, in the wake of the loss of a loved one— are a direct result of a lack of open honest communication about end-of-life planning. By sharing your intent with your loved ones, now; you can preserve your legacy and prevent volatile misunderstandings and costly mistakes for your heirs in the future.
Can I use ExecuVault to help my parents organize their wishes?
Yes! You may serve as an XV Proxy for a family member, provided they have authorized you to do so. Safeguards are in place for their protection.
